Year 11 Leadership Day
“Fantastic day and service from start to finish. The process of booking was detailed and it was clear they were experienced and understood our brief from the beginning. A visit before the event helped to ensure they were aware of our facilities and were able to put a plan in place for the day come rain or shine.
Arrived early on the day of the event to ensure they were set up and ready to and then delivered an engaging series of activities and challenges from our Year 11 students.
Fantastic day for staff and students and we hope to have Pioneer in to support us again in the near future".
-School Business Manager

Year 7 & 8 Team Building Day
“Two lovely days run by Pioneer Leadership which focused on team building and leadership activities. Activities were clearly well planned and well staffed, and quality resources were used. Staff work well with young people and build great relationships over the day.
We will certainly be using the company again!”.
-Deputy Head Teacher

Here at Pioneer Leadership Ltd, we try to keep our booking process as simple as possible.
Our first step is to arrange a conversation with you, which allows us to understand the needs of your students and the aims for the school. We will then take the information from that initial meeting and put it together into a proposal for you to consider with your staff at school, along with a booking form for you to sign and return should you wish to have us work with you.
Throughout the process, our team based here in the office will guide you through all the steps needed to make the day an absolute success, along with sharing any key policies and documentation that you may need in order for the activity to be approved.
Where in the Country do you cover?
We're based just outside of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, which has excellent transport links across the country, and whilst the bulk of the schools that we work with are based in the West Midlands, we support provision with schools from Yorkshire, all the way down to London.
If you think we'd be a good fit with your school, but you're worried about distance, then please get in touch and we can see how we might be able to help.
Our team building days work well with as few as 30 students all the way through to the whole school for the school day. Typically, most schools will ask us to work with a full year group for the full school day to minimise disruption and changes to timetable.
Our team building days offer a very cost-effective solution to engaging students away from the classroom through a series of practical team-based activities, especially where there is no cost of having to transport students off site and a minimal administrative burden on the school staff. Our team building events start from £495 (ex VAT) for a half-day session for 30 students, with costs increasing depending on student numbers.
Heather's experience as a former teacher means that she's keenly aware of the budget pressures that schools face. And we will always look to provide a solution that balances impact with value for money.
Yes. Our activities are all fully risk assessed and approved by our insurer (currently AIM). In addition to this, we also hold an AALA licence for Hill Walking activities in support of our Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions (AALA Provider Number R2845).
Whilst the activities on our team building day do not fall in the scope of this licence, our policies and procedures treat them as if they did, ensuring the highest standards regarding risk management.
Copies of risk assessments can be made available as part of the planning process once your order has been received.
Yes. All of the staff that will be working with young people across any part of our schools and college programme, undergo a number of checks, which includes ensuring that they have a current Enhanced DBS certificate.
